Amsterdam, Belgium, Paris Amsterdam:
It's a funky little city and I like it a lot. I was so exciting when I see the habour again. Auckland? oh, wait...there are so many bikes....um..it must be Amsterdam. Yes, it's the city of bikes!! It reminded me a lot of Auckland. Karin came to train station with her dutch bike! Seeing the dutch girl in the Dutch land was great! I had the chance to see Amsterdam from a local point of view. Karin walked with us to our hostel which is in the centre of red light district! Of course, Dipal(my travelling partner) and I went in for the first night! James from New Zealand came to Amsterdam for a day. We discovered the city together! It's just so nice to see old friends everywhere again. It's a city for everybody. All the good and so called bad things are in this tiny city. It's a place for everybody. In a way, I found Amsterdam very contridiction. It has excellent museums such as Van gogh, and it's also famous about it's sex&drug policies. There are a lot of street performers and I love the amtosphere! One thing I was quite scared is the traffic! You have to be careful of all the cars, trams and when you think there is no trams coming, here comes to the TAXI on the track!! You think that's all? No way! The bikers are the most dangeous. They all try to run you over!! Also, you need to be ware of dogs sometimes. The musume is very expainsive though....and you need to pay for toilet even Mcdonald!!

14/Aug: Red light district-it's so much fun!! slim, fat, white, black, asian, young, old women standing in the window for you to choose. Dutch food:waffle, beer, ice cream

15/Aug: Asthma attack. Spending 5hours in the Van Gogh musuem(excellent musume with good audioguild).Canal cruise. dutch food: pancake

16/Aug: Met up with James(ya...kiwi). We were planning to see All Black kickes Aussie's butt in Rugby, but the bar didn't open, so we didn't watch the game. However, I later found out that All black won the cup!! We checked out the city together including Civic gallary, Dimand tour, Rijks museum, Vondelpark, Coffeeshop where you can't buy coffee.

With James(kiwi) drinking milkshake in Amsterdam

17/Aug: Joined a bike tour and saw windmile, cheese factory, clog etc. Our guild is a kiwi and she is cool. The guy from the cheese factory can speak 20 languages! Not so sure if it's true or not, but I had to translate chinese back to english during the tour...He is cool....but he is very gay!. Dutch food: Belgium chip(Dutch ppl say, the belgium chips are better here than belgium..so I gave it a try. the chips are okay, but the source was excellent-green pepper!), shopping.

Belgium:
we said goodbye to Karin who was kindly provide me accommdation and helped me see the best part of city even when she was in exam period! I was feeling a bit sad when I left Amsterdam, as I don't know when would be the next time to see this incriedeble girl with strong passion toward the world! However, I knew we will meet again sometimes!! After Amsterdam, the accident happened!! I was wondering when we will get lost or took the wrong train and it did happen!! However, I think it meant to happen this way! I was tryingi to go to visit a town called Brugge, but we didn't have time for it. Because of taking the wrong connection, I was wicked to suggest to visit this town as our WRONG train was going to this direction! Brugge is amazing!! it's well-perserve little cute town with medival style!! I loved it and I highly recommand ppl to come here! We got to Brussles in the evening. I don't really like Brussles as there isn't too many things surprise me. But maybe it's because we didn't spend enough time here.

18/Aug: Brugge, Brussles, Mannekin Pis, Grand Place. Belgium food: Chololate, waffle

Paris
It is supposed to be the most romantic city, but I didn't find the magic during my stay here. However, there are more cute guys than any other place I have been to in Europe. Listen up, girls.....They are cute and they are easy to pick up! Yes, as long as you make a eye contact, you will at least get a smile and a "Bonjour". There are 4 of us travelling together and we all got hit on a couple of times. I think the most funny one I had experianced is this guy I met in champs-Elysees who said he liked me very much and wanted to kiss me(i think he even said he loves me....&%$%). It's true that french are very snobby when you don't speak french. Of couse there are some exception such as Dipal's french freinds and the woman I met in a french resturant who helped me with ordering and sharing her french culture. My favourite place in Paris is Versailles's gardan. It's very beautiful and romantic during the sunset!

19/Aug: Arrive Paris. French food: Chesse and wine, Crepe. Felt a bit left out as Dipal meeting up with her sis and friends

20/Aug: 10hours in Louvre but i only have seen about a quarter of the musume. I even took a nap in the musume. Eiffel Tower.

21/Aug: Versailles. Nap along the canal. sunset was romantic, colorful and magnificent! Eiffel Tower.

22/Aug:North Dam, little island, ARc de Triomphe, Champs-elysees. French food: Quiche, pain au chocolate, ice cream. Found out that we had no bed from paris to Barcelona. it mean we had to stay in the train for 10 hours without a bed.

23/Aug: shopping relax day. French dinner with 2 kind women who even offer me their wine. The night train to Barcelona almost killed me. Next time we'll book night train earlier to get a bed to sleep on!

It has been a long email as the internet is free. Oh just a quick notes about barcelona, I think it's a city for both men and women. I know i keep saying slovakia has the most beautiful girls. It's true, but if you want to see more...Barcelona beach is the best! My tarvelling partner is thinking to get a bikini after she sees the beach. by the way, you can see a lot of topless on the beach as well. for girls, I know i say it's easy to get hit on in Paris, but it's even worse(or better?) in Barcelona. Men are even bolder! They say "i love you" so easy!!!!!
