Velky Rozsutec
14/June/2003: Let's go Tramping....again?
Tero(Finland) and I were both broke to go anywhere, so we decided to go to Mala Fatra National Park (about 40km away from Zilina) for hiking. It was raining when I received Tero's text message about not going. However, I was awake already, so I made the objective decision-GO ahead! We planned to go hiking in Velky(big) Rozsutec (1610m). It was a tough job to climb up, even Tero said so. It's steap and full of small rocks. I can't hike up constantly so my way of hiking is running up and resting repeatedly, so Tero had to wait for me every 10mins :P. However, finally after 2hours (It was suggested 1.15hours) we were on the top of velky Rozsutec!!!!!! The veiw from the top was magnificent!!! All the pain was suddently worth it! The sun came up and shined the montain line and it was so beautiful that we thought it can't be real. It's definitely worth risking our lives later on our way down.

Running/jumping down hill was my favourite. I run and jumped like a wild cat. I have no trouble except I almost twisted my left ankle and killed my knee. Ooooch!!! it hurt like hell!! However, after 10 mins resting, I started jumping down hill again :) Tero didn't have much luck, either. He got inspired by my wildness and started having fun with nature. We both had the urge to excrete our excess water,so we gave it back to the nature...and then Tero climbed up a tree like a monkey and scratched himself. When We were lying on the field and taking a nap, he decided to climbed up a rock! Apparently, the rock didn't like him very much, so it broke down and hit right in the middle of his forehead!!

The journey started with both of us in one piece happily........
